Milan? WDYT?
Lately i have heard the name Milan pop up around the place and i quite like it, but im not sure if i prefer it as a masculine or feminine name! ihave heard it used on both sexes before but on this website it says its masculine while on others it says it can be either? WDYT? Is it prodominantly maculine or feminine?

I like it for a boy, but for a girl I find it pretentious and mildly sheep-like in its trend-following.

I really like Milan for either sexes but prefer it for a girl.

Not sure. I've only met one and it was a young woman of about 19. (And her name struck me as laughably pretentious, like the stage name of a glamour-mag model. Or a wannabe one)

It just reminds me of the city in Italy, but I know it's also a Czech male name (as in Milan Kundera). I find it tacky on a girl.

I associate it with Milan Kundera and I've never heard it on a girl so to my mind it's predominantly masculine. I think the only reason it's been used as feminine is following the trend of city place names like Paris and Florence both of which were originally male too.

Prefer Milena.
