Pronnounced the french way ray-mee or rem-ee? It's okay, a cute name for a mouse like in Ratatouille, or a pet if that's what your thinking of, but on a person I don't think the name would grow with them. I like Rem-ee better than ray-mee only because ray-mee sounds like ramy as in rambunctious. Remington is a nice longer form of the name with Remy as a nickname.

I really quite like it. As it is I would tend to pronounce it REE-mee though, which I have just discovered it wrong. If the accent was on it (as Soul did in their post) I would pronounce it RAY-mee due to the fact I've learnt French. Other people may not get what the accent means. I think I like it better as REE-mee just for the sound.

I love it. I pronounce it "RAY-mee." But I worry that, like Rory, Aubrey, Ellery and Avery people here in the U.S. will start using it on girls. Ugh.

I've only ever heard it on a girl, and a man in a movie.
that being said, I'm not a fan of how it's supposed to be pronounced. (RAY-me) I prefer Rem-ee, though that sounds unprofessional and nicknamey to me.

Love it! Spelled Rémy, though. It's such a handsome, adorable name.
