Ogden.
Two of my favorite authors have the first name of Ogden, and I think it would be a really neat middle name. WDYT? Also: What do you think of Omar? I've loved the name for a long, long time, but have recently added it to my list. And of course, one last name. Noor, for a girl. Eilis has been putting about the combo of Miriam Noor, and I'm really loving it right now. It has such a powerful sound to it.

I think Ogden is a terribly cool name, and though I personally don't love it enough to use it as a fn, I think it would be great in the mn slot. As for Omar, I've just never been a fan. Just don't like the sound of it. A few people on this board have turned me onto Noor, and I really like it a lot as a mn as well. Miriam Noor is beautiful.

My supervisor's last name is Ogden, so it's a hard for me to hear it with fresh ears. I used to know a beautiful, older woman named Noor. I like it a lot. It's a very strong name and I love it when paired with a lighter, frillier name.

Like Ogden. especially as a middle name. I've never been fond of Omar, I think becuase I had a horrific teacher whose last name was O'Bar, lol. Noor, however, is beautiful! Miriam Noor is great, I don't usually like Miriam. but I think Miriam Noor is great!

Ogden to me, sounds fantasy like, but also has a clunky quality to it... like the name of an ogre, which, to me, isn't all that bad, because I love fantasy stuff!Omar, eh, I could take it or leave it really. It's okay, but it's really not my style.Noor, I really like. It has a spunky, almost magical quality to me, Like the names Saaski and Saskia.

I think of Ogden Nash, whom I'm assuming is one of your inspirations so that is probably not a bad thing. I don't love the sound, but I think MN sposts are more anything goes, and it does have solid usage, so why not.Omar does nothing for me, but I think Noor is a lovely sound.

I really don't like Ogden, but if it honors and as a mn it can work.Omar -I like it, and it reminds me of the actor Omar Sharif, who I love.I like Noor best of all these names, it's beautiful. Not a fan of Miriam, but they make a good combo.

I think Ogden would make a nice quirky mn. Omar has a nice sound, it's unusual without being too weird.Noor for a girl is beautiful. I agree that it's pretty and powerful, and I have good associations with the three Noor's I know, who are at different ages, so I've seen it ages wonderfully. Miriam Noor is very nice.

If it honours two of your favourite authors then that is nice, but Ogden sounds so redneck to me. It just doesn't seem to fit in with your general taste in names at all.
Omar is nice enough. I have terrible associations with the name so I really don't have an unbiased opinion of the name.Miriam Noor is gorgeous. It does have a powerful sound and I love the meaning.
