Elena or Eleonora
Which do you prefer? I've always liked Elena or Helena, but recently Eleonora's being growing on me.

I prefer Elena, but Eleonora is nice too. To me the names have a completely different feel; Elena seems somehow classic but modern at the same time, very sophisticated, while Eleonora is more old-fashioned and ladylike, if that makes any sense.

Elena is my favorite. I adore the name, whether it's eh-LEH-nah or EL-eh-nah. uh-LAAYYY-nah ruins it for me, though. I love Helena said HEL-eh-nah only. Eleonora is gorgeous but I prefer it spelled Eleanora.

Definitely Elena over Eleonora, but Helena is by far my favorite of the bunch.

I love Elena, but I sadly can't use it, so that is my pick. I really like the others as well.

I have loved Elena for a very long time, but nn Nora is so beautiful with Eleonora. I guess my vote is still for Elena.

Of the two names I prefer Eleanora but my preference would be for Eleanor. With Elena and Helena I think you would have problems with different people using different pronunciations.

Eleonora, definitely.

Elena and Helena are nice enough, but I strongly prefer/love Eleonora.Eleonora (this spelling only) is one of my top female names. :)

Elena gets my vote because its very beautiful, I like the simplicity and I get a bit of a Spanish vibe from it. Eleonora on the other hand is a bit frilly, imo, and I don't like the way its spelt. I like Eleanor and I *love* Elanor, though.

Definitely Eleanora. I used to know an adorable little Italian girl named Eleanora. I've loved it ever since.

That's a tough call for me, but Eleonora wins by a slight margin. However, I prefer the spellings Elenora or Eleanora.
