Bernice
WDYT of Bernice? Do you think its too dated to use? I quite like the occassional nn Bee for it :)

Bernice sounds very old and harsh to me, but I've recently been loving Berenice, but I pronounce it the French way (beh-reh-NEES) instead of pronunciations listed on BtN. I think Berenice is beautiful, classy, and intelligent.
NN Bee is sweet as long as it's only occastional (I'm not typically one for NNs).

It's refreshing, but I wouldn't use it. Bee is adorable.
I know a girl about my age named Audrey Bernice, which I think is quite lovely.I too prefer Berenice, either pronounced ber-e-NIE-see or be-re-NEE-che, although I like the latter slightly better. I had a character named Berenice Iolanda Justine once. Hm.

I'm not too crazy about Bernice. It's not quite ready for a comeback, imo. I love Beatrice, with occasional nn Bea, though.

I like Berenice (beh-reh-nees, in French), but not at all the English forms and pronunciations, I must say...I have a cousin, who must be around 10, called Talia Bernice (American).
