AUGUSTINE
I am starting to like the name Augustine, not Austin! I know a lot of you have wanted me to find a nice, unusual mn to match with my tredny names. This is an old family name from my eight great grandfather. He left England in the early 1600's, before middle names were popular. I would use Augustine as a mn for James or John. I love the combo James John Augustine. WDYT?

Augustine is my top boys name (pronounced a-GUS-tin NOT AU-gus-teen). I like both John Augustine and James Augustine (the former a bit more), but I dislike James John Augustine. I don't think James and John sound good together. Too choppy. They're great as brothers, but not in a combo together. I'd stick with either just John Augustine or James Augustine.

I love Augustine. How are you prn. it? I prefer the aw-gus-teen rather than aw-gus-tin. James John Augustine is nice but I think John James Augustine flows better because of the endings of John and Augustine. My personal combo with Augustine is Augustine Jude.

WHY ARE WE YELLING?And I didn't know that we were badgering you to get nice "unusual" names to balance your trendiness. But I'm glad you think so! Augustine is a great name. I think James John Augustine is a bit much, and just James A. or John A. would be handsome and entirely acceptable, but overall, it's not bad.

I would love it if it were just James Augustine. I really like that!
