Emet
The thing is, I love the Hebrew word "emet" because it means "truth." I would love to use it as a name, but would it make you think I couldn't spell Emmett correctly? Any combos with either spelling?

Why not just Truth?Emet is neat, but it would be baffling for everyone. Truth is one of my favorite word names, it is so strong and bold sounding.

I can't stand using English words as names. Ever. Well, maybe a couple of exceptions with flower names like Lily and Rose, but that's it.

that seems a bit hypocritical.*rantswallow*

In all honesty, yes I'd think you didn't know how to spell Emmett! Maybe you could use Emet as a mn instead?

My first thought was a misspelling of Emmett. My second thought was Doc. Brown from Back to the Future.
Emmett would be more usable I think if you are using it as a fn.
