Re: Wren
Wren is a family surname for me, so I'm biased. But I've always loved it as a fn. Since the bird is small, I see it more as a girl's name than a boy's. I also like Wren as a nn for Renata, and possibly Rowena.I once saw a Victorian Christmas card with a wren on a snowy brick wall next to a holly bush / tree. The image stuck with me, so Wren Victoria sounds natural to me. Other cominations you might like:Wren Olivia
Wren Eliza
Wren Alix (German and old French form of Alice)
Wren Cordelia
Wren Averil
Wren Iseult / Isolde / Eseld
Wren Elspeth
Wren Angharad ("ang-HAR-ud")
Wren Myfanwy ("mi-VAWN-wee") (= my lady)
Wren Eirlys ("IRE-liss") (= snow drop)
Wren Aisling ("ASH-ling")
Wren Isibeal ("ISH-bayl")You like? The only caution I would give is to try to avoid a mn that is a noun since Wren is one too. Other than that, have fun!
