Jack is the name that popular people give their kids. It's an alpha name. (right now that is. Not in five years)

I like it but I would never use it as it's number 1 in England & every other boy I meet is called Jack. I must know hundreds.

Far to popular to use in my opinion. I jused to like the name quite a lot, but now I've met a lot of little boys with the name Jack it's seriously put me off.

I love it, just wish it wasn't so popular! That doesn't put me off though.:)

I'm getting 'badass' vibes from the name. All in all it's pretty nice.

I do like Jack, though I prefer it as a NN for John or Jacob.

I like it fine enough. I think it's good as it's own name as well as a nickname.

I love the name. I would seriously consider it as a name for my son, even if it is popular; sometimes a name becomes popular because it is a classic.

I think its okay kinda boring but i guess you can call him Jacky or Jackson. If i were going to use a Jack name i would use Jackson.

Becoming too popular and trendy for my taste, though it isnt a bad name.

I like it. I used to like it a lot more, the more I hear it and see it though the more I begin to become indiffrent to it.

I like Jack, and Jackie for that matter. I do prefer it as a nn for John but I'll take it either way. Yes, it's getting popular these days, but if there's going to be surge of a certain name, Jack's a good choice, America. :) I haven't run into too many myself anyway. So yes, I think Jack is handsome and Jackie's fun and adorable.

I like the name Jack a lot, but only as a nickname for John. I still don't think of it as a name in its own right, and I don't like to see it used as such, though it's very common to do so.

Oh, I love Jack. I've heard it described as a rugged, masculine name, and I think that describes it perfectly. I imagine Jacks as being tough, handsome, smart, and self-reliant. Jack is one of only a handful of nns that I like as full names.
