Dax?
The name Dax (m) has been on my mind lately. I think I'm starting to really like it. WDYT?

I prefer Dex as a nickname for Dexter.

Dax isn't my favorite but it's not bad...I really love Dex though

I think -ax names are really ugly, really gimmicky, and will all be extremely dated later on. Dax Jax Max Pax Bleaaah.

Ick. It sounds exactly like the kind of trendy name that celebs love and give their sons (and some daughters).

Not my style at all, plus it reminds me too much of the Jolie-Pitts.I would personally prefer Dac, as a short form of Dactylo or something. :)

I like Dax as a nn for Daxter, and I basically like that name because of the computer game Jak and Daxter (1,2 & 3), which my husband and I played before we had children. Daxter or Dexter I like. They're cute.

Middle name Jolie?Really, every time someone "ax" about a name ending in X I think of her three with their self-consciously glib and punchy X endings (Pax, Knox, Maddox). I think the sound and look of it seems smug, brand-namey almost. Not important enough sounding, or something. But decent, I guess. And Dax reminds a little bit of ST. (so what.) NMS, not awful either. One of those stylish-on-paper-but-outre-in-real-life names.

It's not too bad. No negative associations, and it has a similarity to Lux and Pax [which I like, but for girls]. I do think of Dax Shepard, but I don't see/hear much about him. So I guess I sort of like it. Daxton is okay too. [I used Daxton as a middle name on one of my sims]

Too minimalist in my opinion.
