Anouk
Some relatives of mine named their daughter this. WDYT? I don't like it very much, it's nicknamey.

I like it...it's kind of cute. I guess I wouldn't use it, though.

Years ago I knew a little girl called that; she was so dang cute and sweet, it's hard to NOT like the name after knowing her!

I think it's nice, I don't see how it's 'nicknamey' at all. It's not liek it has only one syllable or ends in -y / -ie. I know some girls named Anouk, and it's a perfectly normal full name to me.

Eh, Anouk doesn't strike me as being particularly nicknamey. Now Annie - that's nicknamey. I think Anouk is all right (I love Nanouk myself) but it does sound like the parents are trying too hard to come up with a sophisticated name for their little girl.

I've thought it was cute ever since Chocolat came out. I suppose it is nicknamey, since it's a nickname. But it doesn't seem that way to me since it's not an English name.

The first time I ever encountered the name was while I was watching "Chocolat." I found it cute then and still do. I have met an Annick but never an Anouk.

Cute! I agree, it is too nicknamey. But it is lovely all the same.

It's a Dutch nickname for Anna. It sounds too nicknamey for me to use.
