Xanthia
I met a guy on the weekend (and he was a total pratt), anyway, his girlfriend in the Philippines is pregnant and they are having a girl. He said they had chosen the name Santhea Elizabeth.
I asked "what does Santhea mean?"
"I don't know we just liked the sound of it." So I had a little look, and thought it may be derived from Xanthia a name I wasn't familiar with (unlike Xanthe which I am)
Then I thought maybe it was derived from Sunitha (an indian name). I like Xanthia, and Sunitha (particularly with nn Sunny), and I don't mind Santhea either. What do you think?

It sounds like something you would name a girl if you read too many Piers Anthony books while you were pregnant.

It's a beautiful name. It's not my favorite.

I love the name Xanthia. I got a lot of "sounds medicinal" comments when I floated it to friends and family. I like how unusual it is, it's also strong yet pretty. Xanthia Lillie was one of my combos for it.
