Xouphounouth

Ok... So I just talked to a woman here at my work who was in her 20's and her name was Xouphounouth. She pronounced it ZOO-fuh-noo and her nn (it was noted in her file) was Zoom. I can only assume it's a family name since she was not that old and had no accent what-so-ever other than the one particular the her region of the states. WDYT?

Somehow it sounds Cambodian or Laoian. It is interesting to say the least.

That's what I was thinking. Her last name I can't post obviously but it was along the same line as her first name.

I don't like names that have more than ten letters. It seems like they're trying too hard.
