Richard
Okay this is my favorite together with Harvey, Asher, Homer and Atticus. What do you think ? Is it dated ? Oh I wouldn't use any of the nicknames and I am aware of the nn Dick but I think most Dicks actually chose to go by that name many years ago and I would definitely not choose that nickname or any nicknames for that matter. Also what do you think ofHarvey
Atticus
Asher
HomerI like the combo Harvey Atticus Homer Richard. Too long ? wdyt ?

I like Harvey Atticus Richard. I dislike Homer & Asher sounds (to me) like a cheerleader nn for "Ashleigh" or something ridiculous like that. Two mn's is fine but I think 3 is a bit much. My son Keenan has two mn's and a hyphenated last name and even that combo of 5 names sometimes brings about an issue.

I'm not a fan of Richard, the sound of it just isn't my style, it's one of the names I don't get the popularity of. That said I don't see it as dated. As for the other names, I like Harvey and Atticus. Asher is okay, I'm not a fan of the Ash- sound. Homer really just makes me think of Homer Simpson, unfortunately. The four names is a little bit much but any combination of three names from the set would be nice as long as you didn't have Harvey and Homer next to each other. In that case the alliteration would be a little weird.

Harvey Atticus Homer Richard is WAY too long. Is it a person, or a law firm?

Harvey is more dated, in my opinion. It makes me think of a fat man, Homer has been ruined forever by The Simpsons.Atticus is really popular with the in-crowd, so I wouldn't use it. But you can use it if you really like it. I personally don't care for it.Asher's not my style.Richard is considered dated in Britain, but it's still pretty popular here in the US. No one here is called Dick anymore. The only Richards who go by Dick are old men. You don't have to worry about that.

I love the name Richard, I plan to use it as a mn of a future son after my Uncle. I don't think it is dated, it is a classic. It is a strong name with so much history and everyone loves a Rick. I don't think the Dick nn will cause any problems.Harvey - not a favourite, reminds me of a furniture store we have in Australia
Atticus - Gorgeous and who can go past the Atticus Finch association?
Asher - One of my old favourites. Very handsome
Homer - Don't do this to any child. I get the history, I get the amazing association of Homer and the Iliad etc...but any kid named this now will be dogged by 'Doh's for eternity. If you really love it, reserve it for a mnHarvey Atticus Homer Richard is too long IMO. I am a huge advocate of 2 mns but 3 is too long. This is coming from Elise Marie Anali Bolton by the way. I have lived with 3 mns and it is horrible when you have to fill out forms and things.

really ?I have two middle names as well and I love them! I always put them on anything and never have any problems at all. When it says "middle name" i just put both in. not a problem at all i can't even remember a single time i had any problems with them.

But I have three, not twoElise Marie Anali Bolton doesn't include my last name. Which is why I have no issue with 2 but there is NEVER room for a third
