Karen
WDYTO Karen (KA-ren)? I can never use it as my cousin is called Karen (KAH-ren) and I think it would just get too confusing with the two different pronounciation and the same spelling.Anyway, what middle names would you give Karen?

I like it but it needs a rest. It has just been so common for so long. I think in a couple of years (well, 20 years or so) it could become the next Caitlin. I can just imagine all the little girls named Karen, Karyn, Caryn, Caren, Caron, Karrin, Kerynne etc running around. I think Carolyn and Carol will come back along with Karen.

It's a good, sensible name that ages well and isn't limited to a particular generation.Paige
Elisa
Janelle
Joelle
Faith
Joy
Estelle
Laurel(le)
Belle
TanisYou could still use Karen and have the child go by her mn.
