Eleni
I recently came across this name and I actually like it :) What are your opinions? What do you think of Eleni? (I pronounce it Eh-LAY-nee)

I love Eleni, but prefer it pronounced eh-LEH-nee.

It's cute! I've never seen it before, but it sounds lovely. I'm not too keen on the spelling, though. If only it didn't end in "I"...

Eleni is nice. There was a character on a soap years ago named Eleni. The funny thing was, she pronounced it eh-LEN-ee (she was Greek in real life portraying a Greek character) and the rest of the cast pronounced it eh-LAYN-ee. So being a strictly Greek name, I'd pronounce it eh-LEN-ee. OTOH, my name (Elena) can be pronounced several different ways since it's known in several cultures.Combos:Eleni Alexandra
Elena Christina
Eleni Katerina
Eleni Maria
Eleni Sophia
Eleni Theodora
Eleni TheresaGuess you can tell I like Eleni paired with Greek names. ;-)

I like it, but spelled Elene instead. I really dislike 'i' endings, they look incomplete. I also like Bear's pronunciation eh-LEN-ee, it's much prettier than eh-LAY-nee.

I really like it. It's pretty and unusual but not weird. I say eh-LEN-ee.

I believe the pronunciation is more like, "eh-LEN-ee." I love it. Eleni deserves more attention than it gets, at least here in the U.S. What combination would you use? My attempts: Eleni Sophia, Eleni Maia, Eleni Julia, Eleni Cassandra. You like?

Ooh, I like Eleni Maia (that spelling especially) and Eleni Cassandra.
