Dorothy.
I've always though of Dorothy as one of those old fashioned names that you see on grandma's, that aren't due for a comeback just yet. But right now I'm really liking it. Wdyt to Dorothy? Could it work?

Dorothy could work. It's very adorable and would be refreshing on a little girl. Dora's also an adorable nickname if you think Dorothy is too stuffy right now.

I prefer Dorothea, but Dorothy is nice. It reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz."

Love Dorothy!Love love LOVE it! it's has such a lovely old fashioned ring to it that it just seems chic on a little girl. I know of a little sic-year old Dorothy who is the cutest thing. She has curly hair and sometimes wears it in two pigtails. Her name works on her! Right now, I'm loving the combo Dorothy Wallis. So, yes, it can work!

Dorothy is beautiful and very refreshing! I would call her Dorothy too. Dorothy Ann or Dorothy Alice are my fave Dorothy combos!!!

I think it could certainly work, especially if paired with a spunky middle name (Dorothy Petunia came to mind- something fun & light). I prefer Dorothea, however, because I like the nickname Thea but not the nickname Dottie.

Yes. My roommate has a cousing named Dorothy who is 28, and I recently met a 13 year old Dorothy. I wouldn't say it's getting popular just yet, but it's coming back. I quite like it.
