WDYT of Ellery?
Does it remind you of celery? I enjoy the look of the name and also the nn's Elle and Ellie.

It doesn't remind me of celery that much. The nn Ellie has a nice sound to it though.

Eh...It sounds so made up and trendy. It also sounds rather masculine (and looking it up, I see that it is).How about Eleri? It's pronounced nearly the same (and might as well be in English).

I adore it on a guy......so wouldn't really expect him to use Elle or Ellie =P I think it's very handsome on a boy, and it's on my if-I-have-more-than-two-boys list for sure. On a girl it's very sweet, too - I like the fact that it's such a multisexual name.My favourite combos are...Ellery Benignus
Ellery Evelyn
Ellery Miles
Ellery Cosmo
Ellery Phillipe
Ellery DemetriusEllery Susan
Ellery Andromache
Ellery Gypsy Grace
Ellery Blossom Lysandra

I love Ellery and can't say it reminds me of celery at all. I prefer it for a boy, I guess because of Ellery Queen.

I like Ellery...I always thought it sounded refreshing and sweet. That description sounds way too much like a popsicle...No, I don't associate it with celery, but 2nd grade boys probably would. Children are cruel.

Really reminds me of celery! It looks rather wierd to. I like Elle and Ellie too but there are probably better names that they can be nn's for.

Ellery Celery...There are worse things one could be taunted with. It's a pretty name.

I far prefer Eleri or Hilary.

I greatly enjoy Hilary as well. Little problem...my husband is a staunch Republican and Hilary = Hilary Clinton.
