I think of an English teenager. I think this has a lot to do with the existence of Princess Beatrice (of England).I don't know anyone named Beatrice, but I do know a Beatrix. She is a German-born American woman who's about 45.I prefer Beatrix to Beatrice, but I like both.Beatrice Audrey
Beatrice Alexandra
Beatrice Claire
Beatrice Hannah
Beatrice Margaret

1. Uptight and snobby.2. I don't know anyone with the name.3. I don't care for either but I'd go with Beatrix to spice things up.

I think that it's a lovely name. I would have loved to have been named Beatrice. It's a classic.I actually don't know anyone personally by this name at the moment! I've heard it being used on children recently in Birth Announcements quite a bit.I like other very feminine and classic names paired with it - Anne, Victoria, Mabel, June, Cordelia, etc.

I think it's quite a nice name and I like Bea, but it's been spoilt for me by Princess Beatrice. (Who's the only one I know of, and I think she's 20ish). Beatrix reminds me of Beatrix Potter - prefer Beatrice, as I don't like Trixie much.
