Magnolia
This one was on my list had Malcolm been a girl- starting to think it about it again for hypothetical #3. General impressions of the name? Are Magnolia and Scarlett too coloured? Are Malcolm and Magnolia too close in sound? I adore the sound and image that the name brings to mind- just really wondering if it works in the set.
Scarlett, Malcolm and Magnolia.Magnolia Maureen
Magnolia AnneI really want to use Anne or Maureen as the middle- I actually like the sound of Magnolia Maureen- is it too much of a mouthful?

I think that Magnolia is fine with the names of your other children. It isn't at all too matchy, and two siblings unintentionally sharing an initial isn't a big deal.Magnolia Maureen is a bit of a mouthful. I prefer Magnolia Anne.

Magnolia. Certainly a pretty name. I don't know if I'd want to be called Magnolia, but then, if it had always been my name, no doubt I'd like it. Magnolia and Scarlett...pretty romantic! I don't know if you live in the U.S. South?

I find Magnolia too Southern for my tastes. And I dislike the obvious nickname Maggie. I dislike Maggie as a nickname for Margaret, also.I don't think that it's too close to Malcom, though. Why not go all the way with the combo Magnolia Blossom?

Magnolia?I...don't care for it. I think it sounds old and crabby, like a faded Southern belle.I do, however, think it goes well with Malcolm and Scarlett.
