Julianne, Jewel, Julissa, Julietta, Julian (this was used for girls in the Middle Ages) and Julina also come to mind.

I like Juliet. I don't find it too dramatic, it doesn't seem out of the ordinary me.

I like Julianna spelled Juliana. But you can't stand that name. Julia is nice and simple. Also, you already like it alot despite it being overused. It doesn't matter if it is overused if your just going to call her Jools anyways right? Just curious. I love all three names you listed. For me personally I like Juliana best. But considering you don't. You might want to go with Julia since you do like it. Because liking the name is important.
