Re: Aza and Henry
Aza is not my favorite - is it pronounces az-ah or like Asia?I like Henry a lot, especially as a first name. Henry Alcides is interesting and I like Henry Gabriel. I prefer unusual names that are actually names, so I'd like names like Henry Ambrose, Henry Neville, Henry Elias or Henry Erasmus better.I also like Max and Zeb and possibly Dax (prefer Dex) as nicknames.

I pronounce Aza like Ava (but with a z, obviously). I originally thought of it because I liked Ava but it's becoming popular and my last name starts with V so it didn't sound right. Aza is also derived from the Hebrew word "azer" which means helper; I have it tattooed on my wrist and it's an important reminder in my marriage. It's the same root word that Ezra is derived from. Thanks for the feedback!
