Thomasina
WDYTO Thomasina for a girl? I used to really like it and then I went off it but it's growing on me again.Do you think Thomasina would be too hard a name to handle for a child? WDYTO Tamsin for a nickname?I like the combo Thomasina Evelyn. Evelyn is my grandmother's name. Any other ideas?Thank you.

I love it. I'm not bold enough to use it myself, but I'd be very happy to see it on someone else's kid. I like Tamsin as a nickname.I don't think Thomasina Evelyn flows so good, though. Tamsin Evelyn flows much better.

Another thumbs-up here. It's pretty, and Tamsin is fine as an nn.

I dated this guy named Thomas for a while and his moms name is Evelyn. Creepy!

is awesomeI do not think it would be hard at all for a child to handle - certainly not in the age where Isabella is one of the top names! Tamsin and even Tommy are great ideas for short, sassy nicknames. This is a fave name of mine also. I think it has a great urban flair to it, very prep-school cute. Thomasina Evelyn is gorgeous. I also like Thomasina Eva and Thomasina Eve! Nice picks :D

WDYTO Thomasina for a girl?
-I like it. I named one of my dolls Thomasina when I was little. Do you think Thomasina would be too hard a name to handle for a child? WDTYO Tamsin for a nickname?
-No, I don't think it would be too bad. Flowery names are popular at the moment (Isabella, Evangeline, etc.), so I don't think Thomasina would stick out in a bad way.
Tamsin is cute...much better than Tommie.Thomasina Evelyn is lovely, but here are some other suggestions you might enjoy:Thomasina Joy
Thomasina Violet
Thomasina Mary
Thomasina Marilyn
Thomasina Katherine
Thomasina June
Thomasina Annora
Thomasina Beverly
Thomasina Madeline

Thomasina Evelyn as a combo is all around heavy, I think. I do think Thomasina is a lot of name for any age to handle. Of course it'll grow on them/those around them, but to me it isn't an attractive enough name to want to wait for. Tamsin is perfectly charming in its own right, and I'd prefer that as a full name. Tamsin Evelyn has more balance, too.

Love so muchOne of my very favorites. It's so bright and funny and springy. There is a bird twittering merrily outside of my window that is exactly the name Thomasina. Like a field of daisies. You should read the play Arcadia by Tom Stoppard.I like the nn Tamsin. I also sort of like Tom part of the time, although I do find Tom very masculine. I also lately like Sisi for it because I got into a frou-frou nicknames phase.Thomasina Evelyn is okay, but I don't find it very well balanced. In general I much prefer Thomasina as a middle name almost to the point of it becoming filler for me, but here are a few combos I like:Thomasina Grace
Thomasina Rose
(I know they are filler)
Thomasina Myrtle (this was working with a challenge, trying to pair Myrtle in a way that would make it appealing to me)
Thomasina Myrtle Grace
Thomasina Aloisia (this is very specifically my taste though)
Thomasina Mary
Thomasina WillowMy fave of all my Thomasina-as-MN combos is Zelda Thomasina, which replaced Cordelia Tippins Thomasina on my shortlist a while ago.
