Middle names for Sloane (girl)
First of all, I'd like to know what you think of the name Sloane. I personally really like the names that don't sound to girly. What do you think?
I'd also like to know what you think a good middle name for Sloane would be. Again, I don't like too girly of names, so please keep that in mind. I also like 2 middle names so if you can suggest 2 that sound good together with Sloane, that'd be wonderful.
And finally, if you can slip the name Emery somewhere in there, 1st or 2nd middle name, doesn't matter, that'd be perfect. I think the name Emery is just so pretty in a girls name. Thanks!

Yeah, I just realized that I've been pronouncing it differently from what it says. I say Sloane so it sounds like SLOWN instead of SLON.

Have you heard of Sloane Rangers? Princess Diana was one before she married. Very girly, giggly, fashionable, snobbish party girls in one of London's very wealthiest neighbourhoods. Not what I would expect you to approve of! However, Sloane Diana Emery might do ... but not for me. I'd go for a name like Elizabeth, so if you find yourself stuck with a girly daughter she could be Elize or Bettina, or a non-girly one could be a more businesslike Liz or Bet. More wiggle room, rather than less.

ReHaha, names that aren't too girly? Apparently you mean boys names. Both are typical male names. Why not just browse the male names section?
The only suggestions I can think of for you is the typical male name on female or surname like Emerson, McKenzie, or Madison.

Actually, if you type in Sloane in the search it comes up as feminine. And, most people think of it as a girl's name. You must be one of the few that doesn't. And Emery can be either masculine or feminine. Just saying.
And no name is typically one gender or the other. I'm sorry that you think that because in A LOT of cases, names can be either masculine or feminine.

Actually, Emery is one of those names that have been taken from males and given to females recently. It was never originally a female name. I'm sorry that you think that because in A LOT of cases, names cannot be either masculine or feminine. They stick to one gender, and parents simply don't understand naming conventions or don't care.

Umm...I really can't see it on a girl.I have met a girl by that name, but her only once. I do know a boy by that name pretty well, and with that and the association with Eric Sloane, I can not see it on a girl.
Emery's pretty masculine, too.
Sorry!What about...
Sloane Emery Parthenia
Sloane Emery Penelope
Sloane Emery Antonia
Sloane Margaret Emery
Sloane Emery Morgan
Sloane Emery Boudicca
Sloane Emery Frances

I was thinking the same thing about Sloane. At first I thought it sounded best for a boy but not many others thought so when I put it on a poll. Now, I'm liking it for a girl though. As for Emery, I always think of that for a girl because it reminds me of Emily. But thank you for the suggestions!
