Elvis and Vegas
I met a 5 or 6 yr old boy named Elvis this week.
And this morning at work I asked what someone's baby boy was called and he was Vegas.WDYT?

Rather Vegas than Memphis.

Elvis, okVegas, bizarre. Elvis I can deal with, even admire from a certain standpoint, but not Vegas. Of all the places to name your child after.

Barf. How cheesy and dumb.

Both would be difficult to live with. Elvis for obvious reasons. How many times would he get ribbed with the lip snarling, hip gyrating thing? That's not even including "Thank you very much." ;-) Vegas would endlessly hear "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

Elvis I think is an ok name, nms but it doesn't bother me. Vegas...no. It just sounds trashy to me.

Hahahaa! If that was a sibset I would think the parents got married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator!!

Vega is a feminine noun that means meadow. Not a boy's name imo. I've heard of enough people named Elvis that it's not that unusual to me.

Elvis is fine because it is an actual name, but Vegas? No thanks

Lol, what a coincidence! They're both pretty fugly names, IMO.
