Too close yes. What about something like Edwina and Thomasina (Winnie, Win, or Eda and Tam). Edwina and Thomasina
Lavinia and Thomasina
Virginia and Thomasina
Georgianna and Thomasina
Yasmina and Thomasina
Evangelina and ThomasinaI don't mind that they rhyme so much as the entire last 3 syllables are virtually the same.

I found that I instinctively say JamesEYEna and ThomasEEna. Which is odd, come to think of it.I wouldn't like them for twins; it looks too much as if you'd been desperate for boys. I was at school with sisters, Josephine and Roberta, who gave that impression: and another sibset was Stephanie, Paula, Janet-and-Jeffrey-the-twins and then another little girl with a tweaked boy name which I forget.Thomasina could give you Tamsin, which sounds dated to me but turns comfortably into Tam. Jamesina? No; too weird. I've seen Jimsie as a nn form, which is dire. Rather go for Gemma or Jemima.

HmmThomasina I like. Jamesina not so much. But Jem and Tam are both masculine. Although I suppose I could get over that since Jem sounds like Gem and Tammy starts with Tam. But no matter beause I think they're too matchy for siblings anyway.

I agree that Jem and Tam are totally adorable together! But Jamesina and Thomasina? I wouldn't do it. Then again, I have a weak spot for sisters named Caterina Sofia and Carolina Maria so who am I to judge? ;-)WDYT of Jemma and Tamsin? They're still close enough to James and Thomas yet they don't rhyme.

I like Thomasina, but Jamesina? Not so much. There's just something about the way it sounds...I don't like it.

Jem and Tam are adorable! I like Ina as well for a nickname. However, I don't like Jamesina and Thomasina together. Way too matchy and obvious.Jem and Tam are great though. The suggestion of Jemima and Tamsin was excellent. Jemima and Thomasina have the same feel too.

Nah...I love them.Jamesina is much better than Jamie anyway. Thomasina I like a lot more than Tamsin.
Personally, I'd really like to see twins by these names.

I agree that Jamesina is nicer than Jamie, but I dislike rhyming names on siblings.

Agreed! Very nice!

I kind of like them, but they are too close for twins. I'd go with Jemima and Tamsin.

I don't like either, but I do love Tamsin (as well as James and Thomas). How about Valentina, Clementina or Florentina?

Not too fond of them, sorry.
