Maddylyn
was the name of a 2 year old girl I met the other day. I always think to myself that there is no new way to spell Madeline and then someone proves me wrong. She goes by Maddy. I can't say I'm a fan.

I've seen this spelling before. I don't care for it either. It is almost as thought he parents believe that can't use the nickname 'Maddy' without that exact name being part of the full name. But you can! Madeleine nn Maddy is just fine! :(

Okay, Maddy is one thing, Madison is another, and Maddylyn..I really don't even know what to say to that... WOW! They could have at least used Madelyn or Madalyn.. and those are bad enough..

Madeline is the only beautiful spelling in my opinion. Madeleine is okay, but not as nice as Madeline to me. If this name contains one y, let alone two, I do not care for it. Why do things have to be misspelled?

Ewww!Well, I don't suppose you've ever encountered a Madylyynn? Because I have. :( (No, the double y and the double n aren't typos)

No, I haven't. That is ridiculous.

Madeline and Madeleine look much prettier to me than Maddylyn. Even Madelyn looks much nicer.

Ugh!I hate Maddy enough, I don't need to be tortured further!

Since when did Y's become the epitome of femininity? I admit it is a pretty letter, especially in lower-case, but why are some people going crazy with them and sticking them where ever another vowel might be? It's ridiculous. I miss seeing good, old-fashioned I's and E's.

Yeah....too many "y"s for my taste.
