I would say I think positive about Aikaterine in an academic sense, but would prefer Catherine or Katarina in real life.

In a perfect world, my firstborn would have been Aikaterine rather than Katherine. Unfortunately, not many can pronounce this lovely Greek name (at least not in Virginia) and I shudder to think what people would come up with. ;-)To answer your question, I adore Aikaterine. Ditto with Katerina.

Not a fan, I do like Ekaterina though.

I like the Russian Ekaterina, but Aikaterine seems unnatural in my mouth. I very much want to like it, but it's just not working for me. It reminds me of "eye cat earring". It is lovely to look at though!

I think I prefer just plain ol' Katherine :) Katarina is nice, too, but I can't wrap my head around this one :/ I feel so disappointed in myself.
