Farzana
I've had the name Farzana on my mind for a while. It's unusual, but not impractical in terms of spelling and pronunciation. It sounds like Susanna, but with a more modern twist. What do you think of Farzana? What kind of person do you picture a girl called Farzana to be? Do you like the name?

I'm not a fan of it either. I picture someone from the Middle East/ Persia with this name.

I don't like it - I'm not a fan of the sound, as it comes across as a little harsh to me. I prefer Fairuza for a similar sound, but something a little softer.I really can't picture anyone with this name, as I've never encountered it before and don't have any traits to associate it with.

It's nice, but I don't like the beginning sounds.

I agree with you; it's exotic and unusual in that way that won't give people a headache trying to spell or pronounce it. I wouldn't use it, but I think it's very pretty. I'm also a fan of Fairuza, which I actually prefer. It's got sort of a far-away mystique about it that I think is really cool. Farzana has very pale eyes, grey, with a twinkle. She has a quiet smile and dark hair and olive skin that don't match the eyes. She has an infectious laugh that, while unusual, is captivating. She's not "popular," per se, but she has her close group of friends. She's highly intelligent, fairly cynical, and can be unlucky in love. She has high standards and is something of a perfectionist.

I kinda like it. I could see an earth girl, natural, bohemian or a akward girl in her youth who turns rocker chic in her twenties.
