At first, I thought it was a masculine form of Elise or Elisa, but upon realizing that it was for a girl, Eliso really began to warm up on me. I think it would make a charming name for a girl and it is growing more appealing by the second.

Funny because it reminds me of my family. Many women in my family have the name Elsa (it's my great-grandma's, my grandma's and my mom's name as well as one of my middle names and a few cousins of my mom bear it as well among them a male one named Elso). They all go by different nicknames but Elso just goes by his full name. My parrot's name is Elmo which is quite close to Elso, I just noticed that recently and joke we should have named him Elso as well :PI don't really like Eliso (I don't like Elso much either except for a pet). It sounds a bit funny (just like Elso). Like you tried to hard to make a girls name sound masculine. I think it would be nice for a character or something but it sounds funny in the way Catherino, Elizabetho, Emmo or Sophio would sound funny.

ahahahaI'm so sorry I thought you intended to use it for a boy. I just clicked on it and looked it up :P I know girls names ending in O are trendy at the moment (Harlow, Shiloh etc) but Eliso sounds like some funny boys name to me :PAlright now I'm gonna go and log in :P
