Judas
Given the infamous role of the biblical Judas Iscariot, the name Judas is eminently unusable. I know. But does anyone else love it anyway? Just curious, because I adore it.

I sounds nice, but I love Judah, almost exact same sounds, and a bit better associations.

I like it too. I also like the name/word "Iscariot". It's so pretty looking.

I like the sound of it, but you're right it is very unusable. I would never use it because so many people would have instant negative associations. :/

I love it. Judas Maccabeus in the Old Testament was an awesome guy; it's too bad Judas Iscariot ruined the usability of the name. I'm consoled by the fact that there is still Jude and Judah!

Even if it weren't for the infamous Judas of The Bible, I would hate the name. I hate the JOOD sound.

I don't like it all that much, the association is just too strong. However, I do like Judah, and I think it is useable.

No,I don't really like it, but I do like Jude.

The only names with an oo sound that I like are Ruth, Lucy and the Susan family. So, no; regardless of what a bloke of that name might or might not have done 2000 years ago! That said, I am frequently to be found singing along to 'Hey Jude".

I don't like it enough to use it (even disregarding the biblical association), but I like it. Judas Hyperion would be a cool combo...
