Sylvie
I think this name needs its own thread today. It is striking me as particularly stylish and ripe for the picking. I think it would be especially becoming on a little girl. It's really very likable in my opinion. Agree? Disagree? Any combo ideas?

I actually prefer Silvia, but Sylvie is fresh and adorable.

Sorry, but it sounds too old-fashioned and old lady-ish in my opinion.

It's a very pretty name, imo. I prefer it to Sylvia, it feels fresher.

I agree about Sylvie being stylish. Normally I would find Sylvie somewhat nicknamey, but I greatly prefer it to old-ladyish Sylvia.

I like Sylvie. I don't like the way it looks so I would probably go with Silvie. I know of one little girl with the name. It suits her well. I love Silvia! Sylvie Adele

I was at the hairdresser recently and one woman there mentioned that a relative of hers named her daughter Sylvie. They all thought it was 'too old-fashioned' but I really like it, I think I prefer the spelling Silvie though.
