Meadow
I've really been liking Meadow lately. I know a lot of you may think it's too hippie sounding or tacky or whatever, which is what I thought when I first heard it. But now I kind of love it. Thoughts? Combos?

I don't think Meadow is tacky; it is a little bit hippy, but not crazily so. I like nature names a lot (River is a guilty pleasure of mine!). Meadow is far from my favorite. I think I like the mental image but not the way the word looks ... or something. But I think it is usable, as long as you resist any urges to pair it with modifier. "Misty Dawn" etc. are to be avoided, I think.I knew a woman named Amber Willow; this struck me as a wonderful idea, because it gave her the option to be the 'normal' Amber or the 'creative' Willow. As it turned out, she always went by Willow or Amber Willow (never just Amber). And she was, in fact, very offbeat and creative.

I adore Meadow! I don't think it's tacky... but I do have a thing for nature names, so I might be a little bit biased. I do think it needs a more "normal" middle name to balance it out, though.

I absolutely LOVE the name Meadow. I plan on using it for a future daughter. My combos are Meadow Hanna, or Hanna Meadow.

Yes, but please don't get it heavy with strong combinations... Meadow is beatiful as a single name.

I only like it as a middle name

It grew on me as well. I used to think it sounded silly and now I think it is super sweet. It is such a nice image and it has a beautiful sound. I think it needs a more 'normal' mn or fn though.Meadow Seraphine
