Juno
Is Juno useable, or does it remind you too much of the movie?I've personally always thought it was a nice sounding name, but has the movie put anyone off it? And what are your opinions of it in general?

i like the name Juno and it actually reminds me more of the goddess than the movie. I think that if you like a name you should use it. If you couldn't "use" it, it wouldn't be considered a name.

I think that, while people will inevitably think of the movie when they hear her name, they will have new associations once they get to know her. People will get past the movie eventually. I think it's a very adorable and usable name.

This is my dog's nameSo it's unusable for me.
I wouldn't use or suggest Juno for a real girl anyway; like others said, it's a bit "trying-too-hard". The movie doesn't put me off (the character is responsible about her pregnancy), but it's not exactly the best association. Hera is safer and prettier.

It's a lovely name, but yeah the movie kind of ruined it for me

Juno is one of those trying-too-hard off-beat names that I actually like, despite myself. I'd consider using it, provided its a few years in the future and people forget the movie a little. In any case, the movie character isn't bad. Alternatives might be other mythological names that have equally pizazz but no movie association. Like Hera.

Makes me think of the movie. Sorry

I've always loved it too, but honestly all I can think of now is the movie :/

I think it's useable. I didn't really like it before the movie either. I prefer Hera.

While I wouldn't call it unusable, I wouldn't use Juno until the movie has finally worked its way out of the public consciousness. I don't care for Juno anyway. It's too hipsterish for me, like the parents are trying too hard to come up with a unique name for their daughter.
