I think there was nothing wrong with Rylan / Ryland. Rylon looks too made up and tryndee. Not to mention, it makes me think of nylon.

First thought is that it rhymes w/ nylon... or Mylon w/ an R instead? not really appealing by any means. Someone trying to do something "different" w/ Rylie?

I'm guessing it's pronounced RIE-lən like Rylan, but it looks too much like nylon to me. I definitely prefer Rylan and Ryland, both of which I like.

It's terrible IMO. It looks like a play on Ryley, one of the most inconsistent names ever, with the godawful oh-so-trendy -on ending.

I don't like it at all. It sounds and looks like the name of some kind of hair product.

like Krylon. If it's just pronounced like Rylan, then it's not bad. It's not really my thing, but as surname-names go, kind of nice.
