Magnus and Elias
Magnus and Elias are two names I didn't think I would fall for. I used to love Elias, until is became so popular that I wanted to throw myself into a wall everytime I heard it. But now, I really like it again. And Magnus. What do you think of the two names? Do they work together? Any other name suggestions in the same style? And umm...feel free to vote on my PNL if you want too. Magnus and Elias are my last two additions :-)

Elias is pleasant. Magnus always makes me groan when I see/hear it as a given name 'cause it's all surname to me and should be left that way. Wouldn't put them together either.

I love Elias. It's a great name and a good alternative to Elijah (which I'm never sure how to pronounce). I also love Eli as a nickname. Magnus on the other hand I don't like. Too much like Magnum (the gun and the TV show) and magnanimous for my taste.

I love Magnus, because it was the name of my husband's great-grandfather, the first of the family to emigrate to the U.S. from Norway. It's special to us.I think Elias is...okay. I'm much more partial to Elisha, but I don't think that will be used for boys ever again.

Hallo :)I really love Elias, but since it is so trendy (in G.), Elias looses a little his greatness for me.Magnus is not my kind of style, but it's okay.I think they doesn't work really well together, these are to different styles. Elias is an soft trendy bibical name and Magnus an strong nordic name, which is not really popular.

I really like Elias too. It's not that common here as far as I know, although I have met a couple of Ellis. I don't like Magnus because it just makes me think of Magnum. They would go together as brothers though. A similar name which I really like it Linus.
