Adelina?
My grandmother passed away last year. I was VERY close to her, and I look like I could be her twin (when she was younger, of course LOL)
Her name was Ada.
My dh and I are adopting a little Chinese girl and would like to honor my grandmother when naming her.
We are considering naming her Adelina (Ad uh LEEN ah) Grace, and calling her Ada Grace as a family nn.
What do you think?
TIA!
Amy

Gorgeous. I'm sorry for your loss, but congrats on adopting and I think using a variation of your gm's (then her name as a nn) is a wonderful way to honor her. Good luck.

I love Adaline and Adeline but I don't like Adelina. The A at the end just doesn't sound right. Grace is ok albeit very popular.

Could you please post under a different name?Having two Amy's could be confusing. Thanks!-Amy-

It's very pretty! I prefer Adeline, though. And why not just name her Ada Grace? How are you pronoucing Ada? I only like Ada said AH-dah or AA-dah. I don't like AY-dah.
