Syd
WDYT of Syd? I really like it, but I'm not a huge fan of Sidney. Would Syd seem too contrived as a NN for Isidore? How about Silvester / Sylvester? I'm leaning toward Silvester because I love the meaning, and he could also go by Silvy or Silver if he preferred. Can you think of any other full names for Syd?Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Sid would work brilliantly for Isidore! Or, I suppose, Syd if you're fond of the letter y. Silvester doesn't work for me except as a mn, and it's also quite a stretch from Silvester to Sid.Sidwell?

Yay for Syd! I hate Sydney on a girl, but love Sidney on a boy. Funny you should mention Isidore - I actually like Isidora nn Sid. Sylvester is plain awesome.

Oh no I love Sidney nn Sid! I think it could work as a NN for any of the names listed, though I prefer Sly as a NN for Sylvester and LOVE Sylvie on a girl.I also think Syd could actually work on it's ownMaybe Sidonio, Obsidian, or Siddharth/Siddhartha?
