Minuet and Sonata...
What do you think of Minuet and Sonata? They're my latest name-whim, and I think I may love them. Persuade or dissuade me? Combos? :)

Yeah I think they are fabulous. Nicknames Min and Sonny. I especially am enamored with Minuet. Wow.

These are awful for human children. Maybe for pet fish or something that couldn't be ridiculed?

Minuet would make a good name now that I think about it! It's like Juliet, only you can use the nickname Min, which is amazing. Sonata is good too... it follows names like Sonya and Renata. If Sonnet and Aria are names, I don't see why these can't be!

For puppies, that would be adorable!
For people, I actually don't think Sonata is too ridiculous at all. It's kind of pretty, actually. But just not both of them in a sibset!

Well, you already know I like Minuet. It's so cute and elegant at teh same time. It also reminds me of Minaret, a "name" I thought was just the grestest idea ever. I was studying Islamic art at the time. Also Minaret reminds me of Spinnaret, another great word. So Minuet-Minaret-Spinneret, it's allll gooood. I do think of a car when I see Sonata. Darn those car companies taking the good words! What about another fun music word, like Crescendo, or Fugue, or Cadenza, or Etude! Ooooh, Minuet and Etude. Minuet makes me want to pair it with similarly dainty names; like a name en pointe, likeMinuet Francine
Minuet Bernadine
Minuet Clarice
Minuet Liselotte
Minuet Veronique
Minuet Melisande
Minuet Christabel

Minuet looks like minute to me which put me off straight away. Sonata is just okay for me, not great but not awful either
