Flora vs Florabeth
I’m like that name Flora however it is a terrible streetname in the city I live. Would you still name you kid that if you have that kind of an association. What do you think of the name Florabeth as opposed to Flora?

What about Florine?

I don't think that I could use it if I had such an association. I used to like Acacia but it is part of the name of a not too great suburb in my city and now I just associate it with disadvantage and so on.Florabeth should be right up my alley but there's something a little off with it. That could just be me in a mood - adding Beth to things is okay by my book.

I think Flora Beth would be a lovely name but, put together, I'm not as fond of it. Perhaps a similar name you could shorten to Flora just among family? Maybe...Florette Annabeth/Elizabeth
Fleur Annabeth/Elizabeth
Florence Annabeth/Elizabeth

I don't like Florabeth at all. Flora is much nicer. What about Florence?

I like Flora better. Florabeth sounds kind of overdone. If you think the association with the street in your city is that bad, why not use Florence?

Florabeth is just not working for me. I want to like it but I'm struggling with it. I'd be more apt to use Fleur, Floralia, or Florence as a Flora-runner-up.But I think it would be ok to use regardless. Flora is the name of a really run-down and dangerous street in my city too, but it was a person's name first so I don't think people's minds will automatically run to the street association.
