Jacqueline
I'm Jacqueline. Jacqueline Lovely. I was named after Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. My adoptive mother, Bernice, loved John F. Kennedy and in her younger days she bore a resemblence to Jacqueline K. The name has served me well. It has come to mean, strength, independance, motivation and loyalty. I love that in chineese the name means chocolate. Now I know where those extra pounds come from...I do so love chocolate! I have also heard the reference to supplanter. I believe this means one who overtakes by force. I have taken that to mean one who makes her mark in this world, by dilegence and deeds. It has always been Jacqueline for me. There are some dear friends that call me Jacqui (that's how I spell the short version) but other than a term of endearment, I prefer the longer version. In my youth I shortened the name to JAKE, but my mother hated that so much she would hang up on people who phoned our home asking for Jake, and refused to speak with anyone who did not call me Jacqueline. All the Jacqueline's I have met have been women of stength, integrity and beauty. Choose Jacqueline as your child's name and be assured she will grow into a dynamic lady. I do believe a name can become who we are. I am very honored to be Jacqueline Lovely.
