Jax?
What do you think of the name Jax? Pronounced Jacks. I am thinking (but not sure) that it is derived from the names Jack or Jackson. I heard it on a television show I seen. And I liked it. So I wanted opinions. Thank you!

I don't like it. Too modern-sounding.

It's okay. I think it's better used as a nickname than a full name.

I like Jax, but only as a nickname. It's charming and playful, and it's a nice alternative for Jack. Charlie Hunnam plays Jackson "Jax" in Sons of Anarchy, and the more I watch that show, the more I like the name Jax... :)

This must be why my sister likes the name. She told me she likes Jax as a nickname for Jackson (Luckily, not Jaxon) and she watches Sons of Anarchy. I've never seen it though.

I LOVE Sons of Anarchy LOL. :)

I adore it as a nickname. Fun, spunky, and all. But it seems hard to imagine on someone past their fraternity days. On a resume? Maybe just as a short form for Jackson (or something like that) would be best.

My cousin named her boy this and I'm torn. It's kind of cool, but a bit trendy as well. He has a strong middle name so he could go by his middle name or the initial J and his middle name to look more professional.
