My son's name is Jericho Edward Stephen. He was named after both grandpa's for mn's. Wherever we go we get compliments on his name. It's different, but not too weird. His brother is Malachi.

First thing that comes to mind is the wrestler Chris Jericho, but it's not a bad thing to me. I'd rather use it as a middle name, but here are some combos with it first name:Jericho Darius
Jericho Antony
Jericho Vincent
Jericho Frederick
Jericho Desmond
Jericho Xavier
Jericho Ezra

I know a woman who just named a son Malachi Jericho. While the repeated "k" sounds aren't the best, for a non-namenerd I thought she did a great job. I've always liked Jericho as a name. Jericho Henry
Jericho Simon
Jericho Adam
Jericho Brett
Jericho Magnus
Jericho Eli
Jericho Adlai
Jericho Redmond
Jericho Brendan
Jericho Shane
Jericho Asa
Jericho David
Jericho Samuel
Jericho August
Jericho Heath (technically, Jericho doesn't have any heaths in it so this could be a really weird combo. But if the two nouns don't bother you, I think it sounds nice together.)
Jericho Hollis
Jericho LeviWell pardner? What do you think? :-)

All I think of is that wrestlerSo it seems like one of those super-violent fad names, like Blade, Cutter, or Gunner, to me. I don't mind the sweeter and less brutal nn Jerry for it. I'd actually even prefer to see it on a girl, nn Jeri. If I was to use it as a boy's name, I'd try to tone down the violent overtones I see in it and pump up the gentler Quaker energy it could have by pairing it with peaceful, artistic middles like:Jericho Elijah True
Jericho Steadfast Francis
Jericho Makepeace Jonah
Jericho Promise Emmanuel
Jericho Ezra Prosper
Jericho Hopewell Noah

That's why I like the name, but I wouldn't use it as a first name, to be honest.

There's a Jericho Turnpike near where I live (Long Island), so I don't see Jericho as much of a name. Sorry.
