Marin / Marino / Marinus
I've been thinking about Marin a lot for a while but today I found Marino and Marinus and I'm not sure which I like better.
I was just wondering what you all thought about these 3 names separately and which one you prefer out of all 3any comments are useful though
thanks(:

I've got no associations with Marin at all - isn't it a place name somewhere in the States? And I've got no Italian connections or even friends where I live, so Marino would be eccentric.Marinus is one of my all-time favourites. It works perfectly in English, has a good Latin pedigree and is one of the better Dutch/Afrikaans names. I like it much better than Marina, though that's also good. I knew a Marina once who was named after her father, Marinus. No nicknames ever for either of them.

it seems to me that Marin is a good name but a bit old as a name. marinus is a strong name to a strong personality because it was the name of a Roman family.
But I perfer Marino it's a beautiful name.
that's what I think.

I like Marin the best, and I also really like Marino. They're both handsome names.
