This is new to me. I'm saying "uh-LESS-ee-uh and guessing that's correct since it's related to Alexis. I'm enjoying the softness of the short "e" and the double "s". I would hope people wouldn't assume it to be a creative spelling of Alicia/Alecia. They shouldn't since, generally in English, a double consonant makes the vowel preceding short. Ideas...hmmm...Alessia Gwen
Alessia Gwyneth
Alessia Constance
Alessia Helen
Alessia Joanne
Alessia Maeve
Alessia Kate
Alessia Joy

Ooo, neat. My husband has suggested Alexis before, but I hesitate on "the Alexes". I think I just grew up around too many of them. In the meantime I've fallen for Alessandro for a boy, but never noticed Alessia for a girl. I like it. Thanks. :o)Let's see
Alessia Bryn
Alessia Georgette
Alessia Maelle
Alessia Naomi
Sorry I don't have many today.

Alessia is beautiful and alluring. It's has an air of mystery and adventure to it. I associate it with the Crusades, for some reason (Aleppo?). That's not necessarily a good thing. But it isn't interfering with my affection for Alessia. Alessia Gervaise

I like it. I think it's much better than Alexis for a girl. Alessia is actually quite popular in Italy at the moment.
