Eh, I never liked Anna, Ann, Anne, Ana, etc. But I like Annabelle and its variants.

I like Anna well enough. It's my dd's name (Anna Caroline). I prefer some of the variants (Annabel, Anneliese, Annika, etc.) though there's nothing wrong with just Anna. Everything seems to go with it. I won't bother with combos since I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions.

I like it. It's classic and pretty and, although it is similar, its not as common as Ella, Emma, Ava etc. There are so many variants of Anna! I like these ones best:Anneliese
Annabel
Arianna
Susannah

I really like Anna.
My only problem with it is that there are so many Anna/Ana names now that she kind of seems over done and bland, even though she rarely appears alone...
Sad really.

I never used to like it until recently. I used to think of it as quite bland, no personality. However, I love the simplicity of it now - it's pretty yet understated. Perosnally, I prefer Ana, its sounds more sophisticated (AH-nah) - but Anna is nice too.

I LOVE Anna! I would use it right away if we were to have another girl. I actually love Anna Sofia as a double name, but I also love it as a first and middle name. Other combos I like:Anna Rose (simple I know, but it's so pretty)
Anna Rosalind
Anna Caroline/a
Anna Elisabeth
Anna Charlotte
Anna Catherine
Anna IsabelI like Annabel also, but I do prefer Anna on it's own. Anastasia is another pretty and fancier name. :)

I like Anna. It's one of those names that are simple, yet elegant. I think it's best when pronounced as AHN-na. I'm not fond of the AN-na pronunciation, which I find boring, flat and stale. As far as combos go, I think it's best when paired with a lush, classy, polysyllabic name:Anna Cornelia
Anna Elaine
Anna Elisabeth
Anna Sophia
Anna VictoriaI'm not sure what you mean by Anna variants, but I do like Emiliana and Christiana.

Anna is okay, I guess, but I don't like it. It doesn't interest me or evoke any sort of feelings or images. It's just blah. I don't have anything agains Hannah though. It has a nice simple feel to it.Anne, however, I really love and would use. There's just something about taking that -a off that makes it fresh and lively and sweet. Plus I'll admit to being anti-Anna and pro-Anne somewhat because Anna is so popular and Anne is not. Poor Anne.I do have the combo Anna Regine that I really like. I don't remember how I came up with it, but I heard something similar somewhere. Anne makes some really awesome combos.
