Alexandra
Alexandra is a name I've never felt drawn to before, but lately I find myself liking it. What do you think of Alexandra? Too popular? Dated?

I prefer Alexandria. Alexandra is okay. I don't think it's too popular or dated. It's more of a classic.

It's popular, but not too dated at all. I've always thought of it as a classic, international sort of name. The good thing about Alexandra is that it lends itself to various nicknames, so you could always use a nickname like Xandra that isn't very popular.

I love it, it's one of my favourite names! I love the nns Alex and Allie. :)

I think Alexandra is a beautiful name. You can't go wrong with it. It has a lot more substance than Alexa and co. It's a classic name with a lot of history, and to me, it's like Elizabeth or Catherine, it never goes out of style.

It's a good sensible name and pleasant. There was a bit of a boom on it a few years back, but because it is a standard, it can bounce back to normal more easily than Alexa or Alexis would. It has maintained a high level of popularity, so I don't think the dated feel will kick in very soon unless someone w/ the name does something really stupid and offputting and people decide the name has associations too bad to use.
I admit I do prefer the Span. version Alejandra, but Alexandra and Alessandra are still nice.

For me, Alexandra has always been kind of boring to me, though I do find it kind of pretty. I don't like it, but neither do i dislike it.
I don't think it's too popular - actually I don't know anyone named Alexandra, but that doesn't mean I think it's outdated either.
Personally I prefer something like Alexis or Alexia if we're thinking along those lines.
