Maximiliana
I know that Maxilian and Maximiliano are names for boys and I know that Maxine and Maxima are female versions of the popular Max. But I was wondering what people thought of Maximiliana for a girl. I know it's a little contrived but it has a melodic quality to it, sort of like the popoular Liana, and also contains the popular Max. I've never found a female form of Max that I liked and tonight I was thinking of how a feminine version of Maximilano would sound. So what do you think of Maximiliana? Love it? Hate it? Too long? And opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think Maximiliana is one syllable too many, honestly. It's a whole lot of name to carry around. If you want a feminine version of Maximilian, I would steer you towards Maximilienne, but I really think that Maxine, Maxima, and Maksima are your best bets for a female Max/Maxi/Maksi.

I don't like it, but I admit I'm so hard to please when it comes to Max names. I really only like Max, Macsen, and the sadly unusable Maxim. Maxwell is okay. I don't like any female Max- names. Maximiliano and Maximilian have always seemed overwrought and visually unappealing. Maximiliana is all that and more, but I can't think of a way to make it better. Maxine feels so dated, and I don't like it anyway, and Maxima sounds like a comic book supervillan...one who can grow super big and tries to crush innocents under her massive feet.

I think it's a little much, and I far prefer Maxine.

I don't like it. It's quite a mouthful and she'll probably always get called Max or Maxi anyway. I like Maxine, though. You coul consider Maxina or Maxime, I know a girl named Maxime.I also know a girl with Maximiliane as her middle name and a Maximilienne. I think they're too long. If you don't mind her being called Max all of the time, go for it.

I think Maximiliana is too long and complicated, so I don't really like it.

I like Maximiliana. I like Maximiliano and Emiliano, so Maximiliana isn't too far off. I'd never use it, but it's nice.

I think it's ok, I like big fancy names like that for fun but not for real life, unless you keep the rest of the name really simple. These are all female variations of Max that I found on another site that you might like.MAXELLENDE ( Fem. )
