Allegra
What do you think of Allegra (it isn't an allergy medicine here so that doesn't both me). Maybe nickname Ally or possibly Alice

I quite like it. It's definitely better than Alison for the nickname Ally.I'd prefer Alice as a full name though, rather than a nickname for Allegra. I love Alice

I love the name, and it *is* an allergy medicine where I live! Haha. It's beautiful and fits any age, any time. I like Ali / Ally as a nickname, but Alice, not so much. I know one Allegra, and she goes by Legs.

I like Allegra, but I definitely don't think Alice works as a nickname.

I ADORE Allegra - even with the allergy med. association. Had never really thought of Alice as a nn but I'm not sure I like it. It seems too forced and I get very different feels from both names. Ally is alright but I've always secretly liked the idea of using "Legs" as a nickname for Allegra :)

I don't associate it with the medicine but I do associate it with the fearsome insect Scutigera coleoptrata. When I was younger I called them allegras because they were fast and had many "legs". I'd NEVER use it. LOL.

Not only is it an allergy medicine here, but its commercial runs all... the... time!!But once I try really hard to separate it from its annoyingly frequent commercials, I kind of like the name. I think it could be pretty with cute nn (like Ally or Alice) but regal-sounding if she wants to become Judge Allegra. :)

I like it. Believe it or not, I have not heard of the allergy medicine.I had a crush on a boy when I was 16 who's mom's name was Allegra. She was the most fun, nicest and prettiest woman so I have a great association!
