Aleksey?
I saw this today while I was watching credits for a video game from a play through. WDTY, I pretty sure it is a Russian variation of Alexi. So do you prefer Aleksey or Alexi?

I like Alexei, but Aleksey also appeals to me and looks very strongly masculine. I'd be happy to meet a little boy named Alexei or Aleksey, in part because I'm so tired of little girls named Alexis, Alexa, and Lexi.

I like it. Either spelling is ok w/ me.

Like the others I adore the spelling of Alexei. It was one of my favorite names for a while. However I've met some little girl Alexie's and with that and Alexis and Alexa, it seems unusable for me currently, especially since one of those girls named Alexis is my cousin.

I'm with Bear, Alexei is my favourite spelling also. Very lovely name; it actually was on my shortlist for a long time. Unfortunately, due to potential confusing situations regarding the pronunciation in my country (AH-lek-sey or ah-LEK-sey or ah-lek-SEY?), I took it off my shortlist and moved it to my guilty pleasure list. *sigh* ;_;

My favorite spelling is Alexei actually. I think it's gorgeous. I've always mourned the loos of Alexis as a boy's name and Alexei gives me solace. (I need to get out more.)Aleksey / Alexei Theodore is my stock combination for it. :-)
